Dear Readers,
Today is Day 1 now that the "blogging" has begun.
Today is Systems Engineering II (SEII) we created our accounts on "Blogger.com". All of the information that we were told to set up went as instructed. I will be doing my best to keep a daily blog of events that were completed. On days that I have done nothing concerning the R.O.V. I will say so. There will be, however, at least two days of substantial information.
Tonight I plan on looking over the summer research, testing, background information, and testing information which I have completed over the summer- it is due tomorrow. I will make sure that only the research that will be necessary throughout the year will be included. I will be sure to communicate with my partners ND and KI, who have been linked with my website, to make sure our work is somewhat congruent. That is all for the work that needs to be done tonight.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But you may be wondering what exactly the group that consists of TF, ND, and KI will be creating. I will briefly explain all parts to you. First off, in May 2009 our group will be completed with a underwater radio operated vehicle complete with a fully functional body, propulsion system (KI) arm/claw (TF), and electrical system (ND). The body will be specifically designed to endure the pressures and rigors of the competition. As for the propulsion, it will have to move quickly and smoothly up, down, left, and right. The arm and claw will be completing the tasks which have yet to be designated (tomorrow I will outline last year's tasks). Lastly the electrical system will need to control all parts of the R.O.V. Obviously all parts of the R.O.V. have to be reliable and constantly working by the end of the year.
Sincerely,
T.ango F.oxtrot
